The Anderson University athletics department launched its new PrestoSports athletics website on Friday.
"I'm excited for the release of the new website," Athletic Director Marcie Taylor said. "It's an innovative design with sharp graphics that will showcase the accomplishments of our student-athletes while providing a user-friendly platform."
On the main-page navigation menus, there is one-step access to each sport's schedule, roster, news page, Twitter page and Instagram page. The website also puts the athletic department's Twitter, Instagram and Facebook accounts in clear view.
"I'm excited for Anderson Athletics to take a step forward with our new website," Sports Information Director Aaron Schneider said. "The new website does a tremendous job of accommodating for the increasing importance of social media in athletic communications. It also offers a fantastic user experience and the aesthetics of a high-level athletics website."
To the right of the news rotator is a component that includes a composite upcoming schedule, a list of the most recent results and easy access to each sport's conference standings. The website also incorporates the Raven Athlete of the Week program, which debuted in the Fall.
Anderson begins its partnership with PrestoSports as a website provider. PrestoSports is current provider for the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference and is the primary provider for Division III institutions in the region.
