Anderson Announces Rhodes as Director of Sports Medicine
Anderson University and Athletic Director Marcie Taylor announced Jessica Rhodes as Director of Sports Medicine on Tuesday.

Rhodes has spent the last 12 years as a Certified Athletic Trainer covering Northern Kentucky University, including the last eight years as a full-time assistant. Rhodes was directly involved in the day-to-day responsibilities, including injury prevention programming, evaluation and immediate care of injury and illnesses, rehabilitation, exercise prescription and all medical referrals. She was also in charge of the documentation that went through Athletic Training System (ATS) and EPIC.
"I would like to thank Marcie Taylor and the athletics staff for this opportunity," Rhodes said. "I am looking forward to serving as the next Director of Sports Medicine for Anderson University and couldn't be happier to become a part of this community!"
Rhodes also spent eight years as an adjunct professor with Northern Kentucky's Athletic Training program. Courses covered during that time include Concepts of Athletic Training, Orientation to College & Beyond, Lower Extremity Evaluation Lab and Equipment Intensive Field Experience.

"She brings to this position valuable experience at the collegiate level and a skill set that will continue to place our student-athletes' health and welfare at the forefront of the AU Athletics program."
A native of Kalamazoo, Mich., Rhodes graduated from Grand Valley State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Athletic Training in 2008. She then earned a Master of Education degree with Xavier University in Sports Administration in 2010. Rhodes graduated with a second master's degree, receiving a Master of Arts in Integrated Studies with Northern Kentucky for Education & Business.
