Bio

John Becker enters the 2022-23 season in his fourth year as a member of the Anderson University baseball staff, of which two served as the team's GA after completing a very successful pitching career with the Ravens.

Coach Becker will continue to lead pitching staff development and assist in the coordination and communication of Anderson's recruiting efforts, as well as practice and game-day planning and operations. Becker has also served in various summer roles including the Indiana Bulls and pitching coach for the Normal Cornbelters in the Prospect League. 

In his time as a pitcher for the Ravens, Becker was recognized as the 2018 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Pitcher of the Year and a two-time all-conference selection. He tallied seven wins in 2018. Becker ranks in the top 10 in school history in single-season and career saves. He also ranks in the career records for appearances.

He graduated from Anderson in 2018 with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, and earned his Master of Business Administration degree at Anderson in 2021. Coach Becker resides in Cicero with his wife, Taylor, and their daughter Paisley.
