Knight Garners First-Team NABC All-Region Honors

Knight garnered National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) first-team all-region honors and D3hoops.com second-team all-region recognition.
"The accolades keep rolling in for Maurice. This is no surprise," Coach Owen Handy said. "Maurice has achieved at a high level on the court, and been a first-class representative of our basketball program and Anderson University."
Knight scored 20.0 points per game, which ranks second in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC). Among conference leaders, Knight also ranks third in blocking (1.04) and fourth in rebounding (7.8). He put together 2.4 assists per game and 1.2 steals per game.
Knight was named to the NABC/Reese's Division III All-Star Game. The 6-foot-4 wing from Frankton was tabbed as the HCAC Player of the Year and the HCAC Defensive Player of the Year. Knight was selected as HCAC Athlete of the Week five times this season, which is tied for the most single-season selections by a men's basketball player in conference history. He was also named to the D3hoops.com Team of the Week this season.
