Second-Seeded Panthers Eliminate Third-Seeded Ravens from HCLC Tournament

Hanover (8-8) cleared 29-of-31 (93.5 percent) attempts while Anderson (6-10) finished 25-of-30 (83.3 percent) clears. The Ravens committed 28 turnovers while the Panthers turned the ball over 16 times. Hanover outshot Anderson 57-36.
Robert Okougbo and Abram Zimmerman scored two goals apiece while Mason Bratcher, Will Harriman and Rick Kaufman each netted goals. Kenny Bentley and Jordan Garcia each dished out assists.
Bentley won 18-of-30 (60 percent) faceoffs while collecting 16 ground balls. Spencer Pruden saved 16-of-39 (41.0 percent) shots.
Bryce Johnson notched two caused turnovers and five ground balls. Zimmerman posted two caused turnovers and four ground balls while Dallas Hermanson added three caused turnovers.
"I'm proud of our young men and their efforts," Coach Jacob Ashton said. "We overcame a lot of adversity with youth and low roster numbers at times. I'm thankful for the seniors and their investment in this program. I'm excited for the future."
