Information for 2019 Raven/Quaker Classic
August 26, 2019
The Anderson University and Earlham College men's soccer teams will host Emory & Henry College and Trine University for the 2019 Raven/Quaker Classic.
Anderson is in its 25th year of hosting the classic, dating back to when the tournament began in 1995. Earlham joined Anderson as a partner in 2006 and is co-hosting its 12th classic in 14 years. Each of the four schools are scheduled for a match on Friday and Saturday. Anderson and Earlham will not be charging admission during the classic.
The winner of the classic will be determined by the team with the best record with tiebreakers being determined through head-to-head matchup, goal differential and result of penalty-kick shootout, in that order.
Each match that is tied after double overtime will count statistically as a tie, but will be followed by a penalty-kick shootout for tournament tiebreaker purposes.
Following the tournament, the head coaches will determine an 11-player all-tournament team along with an Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP.
