Nation Selected as HCAC Player of the Week

Anderson University men's tennis standout Seth Nation (Middletown, Ind./Shenandoah) was selected as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Player of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Nation finished 3-1 on the week, earning two wins at No. 3 singles and going 1-1 at No. 1 doubles with doubles partner Bradley Rothaar (Greenwood, Ind./Greenwood). The Ravens went 1-1 on the week to close out the Fall with a 2-2 record. Anderson fell to the University of St. Francis (Ind.) (3-9) in a 6-1 decision on Thursday. The Ravens then powered past Franklin College (1-3) with a 9-0 victory.
Nation (3-1) locked up a 6-1, 6-2 win at No. 3 singles against St. Francis's Austin Schofield (0-13). The sophomore from Middletown then rolled to a 6-1, 6-1 victory at No. 3 singles against Ty McCory (1-3).
In doubles, St. Francis's Jay Stanchin/Tyler Chrislieb (1-5) put together a 6-2 win at No. 1 doubles against Nation/Rothaar (1-2). Nation/Rothaar then fought to an 8-6 win at No. 1 doubles against Franklin's Blake Amonett/Jacob Zachary (1-3).
