After earning a win on Monday, the Anderson University men's tennis team rolled through the final three days in Florida, finishing with a 4-0 record on the trip.
Anderson (6-5) charged past Concordia University Wisconsin (4-6) by a score of 6-1 on Tuesday at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
On Wednesday at the United States Tennis Association National Campus, Anderson's match with Wartburg College was cut short due to rain. The two teams completed their doubles matches, but not their singles matches. As a result, the match was changed to a hidden dual, which counts the doubles matches on individual doubles records, but does not affect either teams' overall records.
Anderson took down Adrian College (6-3) on Thursday at Sanlando Park in Alamonte Springs, Fla. The Ravens then cruised past Wentworth Institute of Technology (0-7) on Thursday at the Lake Cane Tennis Center in Orlando.
COACH SCOTT GREVE'S COMMENTS
- It was a very productive Spring Break for Raven Tennis. Our players are taking the necessary steps for us to improve and move toward competing for the HCAC Championships.
- The men had a very strong showing in Florida. We had the opportunity to play a lot of guys and try some new lineups that are helping us utilize the depth we have on this team as well as help some players continue to recover from injuries. It was great to see the guys go undefeated in the five matches we played.
