Anderson Closes Out Indoor Season in Polar Bear Qualifier

"We only took [a combined total of] four students this weekend," Coach Nic Huffman said. "We wanted to push ourselves and enjoy the experience, which we did. Noelle Loller had a really great race and the men pushed themselves. We all learned from the day and we're looking forward to the outdoor season."
Michael Sweigart claimed eighth place in the weight throw with a toss of 15.18 meters (49 feet, 9.75 inches). He also launched the shot put 13.25 meters (43 feet, 5.75 inches).
Kaleb Gucinski clocked a time of 17 minutes, 55.86 seconds in the 5,000-meter run. Caleb Carrao raced to times of 53.97 seconds in the 400 and 23.83 seconds in the 200.
The Ravens kick off their outdoor season on March 26 at 12 p.m. in the Robert Johnson Invitational in Crawfordsville.
