Carrao Tabbed as HCAC Track Athlete of the Week
Anderson University men’s track and field junior Caleb Carrao has been tabbed Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Track Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Carrao was named HCAC Track Athlete of the Week for the second time this season and for the second time in his career.
During last Saturday's Taylor Trojan Invite in Upland, Carrao charged to first place in the 400-meter dash with a time of 50.39 seconds. His time tops all other HCAC athletes. Carrao holds a raw personal record (PR) of 50.18 seconds. The junior from Indianapolis holds a converted PR of 49.40 seconds, which currently ranks 36th in NCAA D-II.
Carrao also locked up his first career first-place finish in the 200 with a PR time of 23.18 seconds. He currently ranks fifth in the conference in the 200.
Anderson hosts the AU Invite on Saturday, Feb. 4 at 1 p.m. in Kardatzke Wellness Center. The Ravens are also celebrating Senior Day with the ceremony set to begin at 12:30 p.m.
