Moore Takes Third in 60 Dash During Friday Night Spikes Tune-Up
Anderson University men’s track and field sophomore Andre Moore took third place in the 60-meter dash during Friday’s Friday Night Spikes Tune-Up in Terre Haute.

Moore secured fifth in the 60-meter dash prelims with a time of 7.28 seconds. The sophomore from Indianapolis charged to third in the 60-meter dash finals with a time of 7.26 seconds.
Anderson's women's team took fifth in the team standings while Anderson's men's team finished sixth in the team standings.
Tyler Nelson earned sixth in the 800 with a personal-record (PR) time of 2 minutes, 8.26 seconds.
Ted Lamson raced to sixth in the 60-meter dash prelims with a time of 9.80 seconds. He then locked up sixth in the 60-meter dash finals with a time of 9.85 seconds.
Ludvick Kelley clocked an 800 time of 2:10.92 while Jakob Surgeon clocked an 800 PR of 2:17.53. Micah Stacy charged to a 1-mile PR of 4:54.66. Jacob Holifield turned in times of 26.37 seconds in the 200 and 7.74 seconds in the 60-meter dash.
On the women's side, Mikayla Conrad captured sixth in the weight throw with a PR distance of 12.58 meters (41 feet, 3.25 inches). The sophomore from Columbus also fired the shot put 9.42 meters (30 feet, 11 inches) to secured seventh.
"We didn't bring many as most of them are resting for conference next week," Coach Nic Huffman said. "The few we took were ready and put up some good performances. I'm really excited to see what we do next Saturday."
The Ravens battle in the HCAC Championships on Saturday, Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. in Cincinnati.
