Ravens Claim Seventh in AU Invite

The Anderson University men's track and field claimed seventh place in the AU Invite on Saturday in the Kardatzke Wellness Center.

Anderson posted a total of 16 personal records and two additional season bests.

Prior to the meet, the Ravens celebrated Anderson's lone women's senior Jaycie Sones along with Anderson's men's seniors Josh Slayton, Gage Guenin, Micah Stacy, Ryan Knoll, Ben Parsons, Zachary Davenport and Michael Sweigart for Senior Day.

COACH NIC HUFFMAN'S COMMENTS

• The meet went well because I had a lot of amazing help. The officials helped run an efficient meet and the football team was a really huge help throughout the day. Our team did an amazing job of hosting, supporting and helping.
• A big goal for this weekend was to step up our competitiveness. I think we settled some nerves and went for it. In some cases, it went well, and in other places, we still need work. We are improving and learning each week. We just need to keep this attitude going. There is still a lot more we need to fix, so we will recover for now and get back at it on Monday.
