Tara Morey is a senior middle infielder on the Anderson University softball team.
Morey joined the Anderson softball team as a sophomore after transferring from Ball State University. In her sophomore season, Morey went 43-for-112 at the plate. Morey led the Ravens in batting average (.384), hits (43), stolen bases (16) and in-base percentage (.448). She also ranked fifth in the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) in stolen bases. Morey received all-HCAC honorable mention.
As a junior, Morey garnered first-team all-conference honors. Morey went 39-for-118 for a .331 batting average. She posted a team-high .406 on-base percentage. Morey also stole 12 bases. She received academic all-HCAC honors and was named a National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) Scholar Athlete.
During her career, Morey went 83-for-233 for a .356 batting average. Morey also contributed 28 stolen bases and a .425 on-base percentage.
