T-25 Calvin Sweeps Anderson

Calvin University swept the Anderson University softball team during Friday's doubleheader at the Raven Softball Field.

The Knights (11-5) top the Ravens (3-5) in six innings by a score of 9-0 in Game 1. Calvin then rallied past Anderson 6-4 in Game 2. The Knights are tied for 25th in the latest National Fastpitch Coaches Association (NFCA) NCAA D-III poll.

Gracie Grimes was the Raven of the day after finishing 3-for-4 with two home runs, one double and three runs batted in.

GAME 1: CALVIN 9, ANDERSON 0 (F/6)

The Knights outhit the Ravens 11-1. Gracie Grimes contributed a double. Izzy Scott (0-2) was hit with the loss. She struck out two batters, issued three walks and surrendered nine runs on 11 hits in six innings.

GAME 2: CALVIN 6, ANDERSON 4
