Anderson Women’s Golf Adds Five in Latest Recruiting Class
The Anderson University women’s golf program and head coach Morgan Douglass have announced the commitments of five players for the 2022-23 season. Layla Andrysiak, Kylee Duncan, Evelyn Fairbanks, Chloe Renihan and Ivy Smith will each represent the Anderson Class of 2026.

"I am thrilled with the incoming group of freshmen we have joining us this year," Coach Morgan Douglass said. "They are full of energy, fun, and are incredibly hardworking when it comes to their golf game. I love the positive energy they are already bringing to our team and the desire they have had to get out and get better this summer! This group will continue to help us build a foundation for Anderson Women's Golf. Aside from their ability to compete on the course, they will bring a lot of commitment to our program and the culture we are building. I cannot wait to see how they grow and compete over the next four years!"

Why I Chose AU: I loved the feeling of being on campus, everyone seemed so nice and inviting! Coach Douglass was always so nice, welcoming, and involved with me. I cannot wait to be a part of the golf team and life at Anderson this year!

Why I Chose AU: I went to a public school, so I'm excited to integrate my faith with my academic pursuits. After visiting and talking with AU faculty, I felt like this was the place for me to be able to accomplish that. Through my research, I fell in love with the more intimate learning environment, especially seen in the Psychology department. Coach Douglass opened my eyes to all the possibilities at AU for me.
Coach Douglass's Comments: Evelyn brings a quiet consistency to the group. Her steadiness on and off the course allows for her to be a constant for the team and others to lean on.
