The Anderson University women's soccer team (1-0-2) fought to a 0-0 defensive draw with Huntington University (3-1-1) on Saturday in Huntington.
Huntington outshot Anderson 10-4, including 7-1 on goal. Adrienne Weyers stood strong, stopping all 7 shots on goal. Emily Wilusz, Lillie Casey, Natalie Hay, and Hannah Thompson all registered a shot.
Meghan Foster earned Raven of the Game honors by playing all 90 minutes on defense for the Ravens and contributing to Anderson's shutout.
COACH JENNIFER MYHRE'S COMMENTS
[Saturday] was a well played game by both teams. We made some good adjustments at halftime to create more chances and had some close shots. I was really proud of our backline shutting down their attack and they were solid all game long.
