Ravens Took 10th in Indiana Intercollegiates
The Anderson University women's swimming and diving team took 10th in the Indiana Intercollegiates on Saturday in Lafayette.

"I'm thrilled that our men and women competed in the Indiana Intercollegiate Invite at Purdue," Coach Tanner Barton said. "This marks the first year our program has participated in this invite. It's an incredible experience for our student-athletes to compete in one of the nicest Indiana natatoriums while racing in-state competitors from DI, DIII and NAIA schools."

Kaitlyn Hopp (Downers Grove, Ill./Downers Grove South) raced to a time of 5 minutes, 48.17 seconds in the 500-yard freestyle. The sophomore from Downers Grove, Ill. posted a time of 2:10.02 in the 200 freestyle.

Lily Hunter (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) clocked a time of 26.41 seconds in the 50 freestyle.

Anderson fielded a 200 medley relay of Aubrey Davis (Centerville, Ind./Centerville), Lillia Mitchell (Crawfordsville, Ind./North Montgomery), Tess Maubach (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington) and Hunter, which recorded a time of 1:59.84. The Ravens put together a 200 medley relay of Ashley Daulton (Batesville, Ind./Batesville), Emma Maubach (Bloomington, Ill./Bloomington), Tori Haessig (Sunman, Ind./Milan HS) and Hopp, which turned in 2:06.65.

Claire Leibold (Dayton, Ohio/Archbishop Alter), Hunter, Daulton and Brooke Denouden (Lake Orion, Mich./Lake Orion) fielded a 200 freestyle relay, which provided a time of 1:49.81.

Anderson (0-0) opens up Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) play by taking on Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (0-0) on Nov. 8 at Bennett Natatorium.
