Strege Selected as HCAC Diver of the Week

Anderson University women's swimming and diving standout Halle Strege (McCordsville, Ind./Mount Vernon) was selected as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Diver of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Strege helped debut the diving program for Anderson while winning two of her three events in two HACA duals last week.
Anderson (1-1, 1-1) captured a 183-85 victory against Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (0-1, 0-1) last Friday at Bennett Natatorium. Strege recorded a 1-meter diving score of 123.50 points in her debut. During the second event of 1-meter diving, Strege captured first place with a score of 198.80 points.
Transylvania University (4-1, 1-0) took a 197-71 victory against Anderson last Saturday. Strege rolled to first place in the 1-meter diving with a score of 228.33 points. The freshman from McCordsville won by 110.43 points.
The Ravens return to action for the three-day Magnus Cup, hosted by NCAA Division I's Cleveland State University, beginning on Nov. 22 at 9 a.m. in Cleveland.
