Ravens Break Wins Record, Top Yellow Jackets
The Anderson University women's tennis team topped Defiance College in a 9-0 decision during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at the AU Tennis Courts. Anderson picked up its 11th win, breaking the school record of 10 set back in 2011.

The Ravens are 11-1 with a 6-0 conference record while the Yellow Jackets drop to 3-9 with a 2-5 conference record.

Katrina Berban (Seguin, Texas/New Braunfels), Allison Newman (Greenwood, Ind./Greenwood), Jasmine Blair (Clearwater, Fla./Homeschool/Largo), Claire Miller (Indianapolis, Ind./Homeschool), Anna Creech (Richmond, Ind./Richmond) and Jordyn Roper (Belleville, Ill./Althoff Catholic) won both their singles and doubles matches. Anderson lost a total of three games during the entire contest.

Anderson takes on Midway University (4-2) on Friday at 5 p.m. at the Lexington Tennis Club in Lexington, Ky. The Ravens then clash with Transylvania University (6-1, 6-0), the only remaining undefeated team in HCAC action, in the regular-season finale on Saturday at 11 a.m. at Top Seed Tennis Club in Nicholasville, Ky.
