Franklin Earns Victory Against Anderson
Franklin College earned a 25-14, 25-19, 25-22 victory against the Anderson University volleyball team during Friday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at O.C. Lewis Gymnasium.

Felicity Bontrager (Goshen, Ind./Fairfield) turned in a team-high six kills. Jimena Montano (Algonquin, Ill./Harvest Christian Academy), Olivia Rice (Walkerton, Ind./John Glenn) and Ashlyn Transier (Swayzee, Ind./Oak Hill) each tallied five kills. Rice recorded a .333 attack percentage while Taylor Lawson (New Palestine, Ind./New Palestine) and Transier each finished with a .231 hitting percentage. Hannah Rady (Cloverdale, Ind./Cloverdale) dished out 16 assists and Brooke Troyer (Elkhart, Ind./Elkhart Memorial) scattered 14 digs.

Franklin (15-8, 3-1) racked up a .254 hitting percentage and Anderson (7-12, 1-2) put together a .133 hitting percentage.

The Ravens are scheduled for two road HCAC matches next week. Anderson takes on Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology (10-12, 2-0) on Wednesday at 7 p.m. in Terre Haute. The Ravens then battle Mount St. Joseph University (11-8, 0-2) on Friday at 7 p.m. in Cincinnati.
