The Anderson University baseball team (22-14, 12-7) fell to Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology by a score of 6-2 during Sunday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) game at Don Brandon Field.
Zac Stawski smashed a solo home run. Dylan Hogan contributed a double and Trey Dorton cracked a single. Daniel Barreca drew a bases-loaded walk. Justin Schassburger (2-2) was hit with the loss. He struck out six batters, issued two walks and allowed five runs on eight hits in five innings. Dalton Wasson threw two and one-third scoreless innings while Landon Brooks added a scoreless inning.
Anderson and Hanover College (15-21, 10-9) face off a in a three-game HCAC series in Hanover. The two teams are slated for a doubleheader on Saturday, May 3 at 12 p.m. as well as an additional third game on Sunday, May 4 at 12 p.m.
