Tallent Breaks Career Reception Record against Franklin

Tallent tallied seven receptions to boost his career total to 222 receptions, breaking the previous career record of 217 set by 2006 graduate Hyman Smith.
"I am very proud and happy for Zac on this great accomplishment," Coach Steve Rock said. "Zac works hard on the field and has earned this record. Zac brings a football mindset and effort to practice each day and sets high expectations for himself and his teammates. Congratulations Zac!"
Franklin (4-3, 2-2) captured a 17-0 victory against the Ravens (0-7, 0-4).
Caleb Brown (Decatur, Ga. / Alcovy) recorded seven receptions and 82 receiving yards while James Tucker (Brookville, Ind. / Franklin County) provided 10 receptions and 76 receiving yards. Tyson Harley (New Palestine, Ind. / Mount Vernon) completed 27-of-45 (60 percent) passes for 198 yards.
Jose Olivo (Knightstown, Ind. / Knightstown) led the Ravens with nine tackles. Jawan Coney (Hammond, Ind. / Morton) produced seven tackles, one sack. The sophomore from Hammond recorded 2.5 tackles for losses for 17 tackle-for-loss yards. Caden McClain (Pendleton, Ind. / Pendleton Heights) contributed seven tackles and forced a fumble. Ted Lamson (Odon, Ind. / North Daviess) blocked a kick while Cayden Sotelo (Charlottesville, Ind. / Eastern Hancock) picked off a pass and returned it for 13 yards. Sam Feola (Ridgeville, Ind. / Monroe Central) put together seven tackles. Hayden Lee (Cedarville, Ohio / Cedarville) recorded two sacks and 11 sack-for-loss yards. The junior from Cedarville, Ohio turned in two tackles for losses and 11 tackle-for-loss yards. Collin McCaffrey (Manchester, Mich. / Manchester) produced six tackles. Brandon Goodman (Logansport, Ind. / Logansport) tallied a sack, 1.5 tackles for losses and 11 tackle-for-loss yards.
Caleb Oliver (Marion, Ind. / Marion) pinned four punts inside the 20.
The Ravens take on Mount St. Joseph University (4-2, 3-0) in HCAC action on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
