The Anderson University and Manchester University men's soccer teams will co-host Alma College and Wittenberg University for the 2022 Raven/Spartan Classic.
Anderson and Manchester take part in their ninth year in their partnership of hosting the Raven/Spartan Classic since establishing the tournament in 2013, only missing the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Each of the four schools are scheduled for a match on Saturday and Sunday. Anderson and Manchester will not be charging admission during the classic.
The winner of the classic will be determined by the team with the best record with tiebreakers being determined through head-to-head matchup, goal differential and result of penalty-kick shootout, in that order.
Each match that is tied after regulation will count statistically as a tie, but will be followed by a penalty-kick shootout for tournament tiebreaker purposes.
Following the tournament, the head coaches will determine an 11-player all-tournament team along with an Offensive MVP and Defensive MVP.
Anderson will also be hosting its Parent's Day during Saturday's match against Alma.
