The Anderson University men’s soccer team won its third consecutive Raven/Quaker Classic on Saturday at Fridley Field.

The Anderson University men's soccer team won its third consecutive Raven/Quaker Classic on Saturday at Fridley Field.
Anderson (1-1) downed Beloit College (1-1) by a score of 4-0. Saturday concluded with all four classic participants holding a 1-1 record. The tiebreaker came down to goal differential and the placings came out as Anderson in first place with a plus-two goal differential. Muskingum University (1-1) (+1) claimed second, while Earlham College (1-1) (-1) took third and Beloit (-1) finished fourth.
Luke Weinman V was named the Raven/Quaker Classic Offensive MVP. Jack Harris, Emmett Kindler and Miles Tucker were also selected to the all-tournament team.
Anderson also celebrated Parents Day.
COACH SCOTT FRIDLEY'S COMMENTS
I'm very proud of the boys after [Friday's] disappointing result. We started quickly and were able to get control of the game enough to get a second goal and gain momentum. I thought we did a lot of good things on the weekend that we can build on.
