Men's Golf Holds Fourth Through Day 1 of Forest Hills Fall Invitational
The Anderson University men's golf team holds fourth place through Day 1 of the Forest Hills Fall Invitational on Saturday in Richmond. Luke LeBourdais and John Mercer are both tied for sixth place to lead the Ravens. Both fired rounds of 77 on the par-70 layout at Forest Hills Country Club. The Ravens wrap up the Forest Hills Fall Invitational on Sunday.

Women's Golf Locks Up Eighth in Heidelberg Fall Invitational
The Anderson University women's golf team locked up eighth place in the two-day Heidelberg Fall Invitational, which concluded on Saturday in Fostoria, Ohio. Anderson recorded a 36-hole team score of 692 (+116). The Ravens' Round 2 of +50 (338) marks the program's lowest 18-hole relative-to-par score since 2011.
Hannah Emenhiser took 22nd place with a 36-hole score of 164 to lead the Ravens. The junior from Whiteland fired rounds of 86 and 78 on the par-72 layout at Fostoria Country Club. Emenhiser tied her 18-hole relative-to-par personal record and has accounted for both of the program's individual rounds of +6 since 2014. Addy Gick tied for 36th with a 169 (+25), behind rounds of 88 and 81. Gick's round of +9 ties her personal record (PR). Lehna Wagner shot a 178 (+34) behind rounds of 91 and 87. The junior from Peru posted relative-to-par PR's for both 18 holes (+15) and 36 holes. Ava Capes put together a 183 (+39) behind rounds of 89 and 94. She also set PR's for both 18 holes (+17) and 36 holes. Anderson battles in the two-day Randy Sadler Invitational, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 20 at Liberty Country Club in Liberty.

Men's Soccer Battles to Draw with Olivet
The Anderson University men's soccer team (3-2-1) battled to a 2-2 draw with The University of Olivet (0-2-1) on Saturday in Olivet, Mich. Olivet outshot Anderson 13-10 and held a 9-6 advantage in shots on goal. Miles Tucker netted two goals for the Ravens. The sophomore midfielder from Noblesville registered four shots and three shots on goal. Braydon Kennedy saved six of the eight shots he faced. Matthew Dabbelt recorded a defensive save. The Ravens go head-to-head with Alma College (3-1-1) on Sunday at 4 p.m. in Alma, Mich.

Women's Soccer Fights to Draw with Titans
The Anderson University women's soccer team (2-2-1) fought to a 1-1 draw with Indiana University-South Bend (2-3-1) on Saturday at Fridley Field. IU-South Bend outshot Anderson 14-10 and held a 10-5 advantage in shots on goal. Izzy Cameron found the back of the net by chipping the keeper from just in front of the midfield circle. Kennedy Hurst assisted on the goal. Cameron and Kyndall Ferguson each tallied two shots and two shots on goal while Mailee Cornette contributed two shots and one shot on goal. Adrienne Weyers saved nine (90 percent) of the 10 shots she faced. Anderson clashes with St. Mary's College (Ind.) (5-0) on Wednesday at 5 p.m. at Fridley Field.

Men's Cross Country Takes Sixth in Hanover Invitational
The Anderson University men's cross country team took sixth place in Saturday's Hanover Invitational at Hanover. David Stansbury secured 14th place to lead the Ravens. The senior from Elkhart recorded a 6K time of 20 minutes, 56.3 seconds. Anderson battles in the John McNichols Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. in Terre Haute at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
Women's Cross Country Finishes Sixth in Hanover Invitational
The Anderson University women's cross country team finished sixth place in Saturday's Hanover Invitational at Hanover. Hattie Harlow claimed 17th place to lead the Ravens. The freshman from Russiaville put together a 3.2-mile time of 21 minutes, 52.8 seconds. Anderson competes in the John McNichols Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 9 a.m. in Terre Haute at LaVern Gibson Championship Cross Country Course.
Football Falls to SUNY-Maritime
The Anderson University football team (1-1) fell to State University of New York-Maritime (2-0) by a score of 48-0 on Saturday in Throggs Neck, N.Y. SUNY-Maritime held a 451-144 advantage in total offense. Zachary Anderson put together an average of 40.5 yards per punt on four punts. Damian Hernandez picked off a pass and intercepted 31 yards. Alex Myers recorded an interception, a pass break up and seven tackles. Kevin Thomas broke up two passes. Kurtis Watkins turned in 1.5 tackles for loss and a half sack. Travis Billups Jr. contributed a pass break up. Jake Simpson recorded 11 tackles while Jaylen Hayes produced 10 tackles and a half sack. Luke Manning threw for 100 yards. Anderson goes head-to-head with Kalamazoo College (2-0) on Saturday, Sept. 20 at 6 p.m. in Kalamazoo, Mich.
