Anderson capped a Michigan road trip, which also consisted of a 2-2 tie against The University of Olivet (0-2-1).
"It was a pretty good weekend I would say," Coach Scott Fridley said. "Getting on the road is never easy, but finding a way for success is great to see. Each time they equaled the score, we found a way to add another. Alma is well coached and his team understands the expectation there. It's always a tough go with them. I was very proud of the work ethic. We are moving the ball well, we just have to find some more consistency. They are finding a way."
Alma outshot Anderson 11-5 and held a 6-5 advantage in shots on goal. Freshman Karter Denson was named The Raven's Raven for Sunday after getting his first career start in goal. The goalkeeper from Troy, Ohio saved four (66.7 percent) of the six shots he faced. Hall, Mays and Tucker each provided goals. Lewis and Kindler each recorded two assists. Dabbelt added an assist. Hall put both of his shots on target while Lewis, Kindler and Tucker each put their only shot on frame.
Anderson battles Blackburn College (4-2) on Wednesday, Sept. 17 at 3 p.m. CT in Carlinville, Ill.
