COMMENTS FROM COACH RUSSELL MACKEY
- The team played a great first two quarters, then made a few too many mental errors in the third and fourth quarters, but through grit and determination, they fought hard and hung onto victory.
- Kimber Weiss had a game-winning save with seconds left to clinch the win and keep the game from going into OT.
- I was happy with our defense, and seven players scored despite the errors on offense.
- We were very balanced compared to other teams we've played. Which will serve us well in tight situations during the conference games over the next three weeks.
