Women's Soccer Charges Past Pomeroys
Women's Soccer (2-0) charged past St. Mary-of-the-Woods College (0-3) by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday at Fridley Field. Natalie Marcum and Hannah Thompson netted goals for the Ravens. Adrienne Weyers recorded a five-save shutout. The Ravens controlled 67 percent of the total possession. Anderson held a 31-9 shot advantage and a 12-5 shot-on-goal advantage. Mailee Cornette notched seven shots and four shots on goal. Caroline Hill tallied six shots and three shots on goal. Thompson contributed three shots and two shots on goal. Wilmington Edges Men's Soccer
Wilmington College (2-0-1) edged Men's Soccer (1-2) by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday at Fridley Field. Anderson outshot Wilmington 14-10, but the Quakers held a 6-4 advantage in shots on goal. Anderson also held the possession advantage at 53 percent. Daniel Karlen produced a goal assisted by Xander Mays. Jack Harris and Ashton Kuss recorded three shots apiece. Braydon Kennedy saved four of the six shots he faced. Anderson faced off with Trine University (0-2) on Friday at 5 p.m. at Fridley Field.
