Frantz, Cunningham Earn Consolation Singles Wins in Weather-Shortened ITA Regionals
Anderson University women’s tennis players Ella Frantz and Abby Cunningham both earned consolation singles wins on Saturday in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA D-III Central Regional in St. Louis.
Anderson University women's tennis players Ella Frantz and Abby Cunningham both earned consolation singles wins on Saturday in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) NCAA D-III Central Regional in St. Louis.
Frantz and Cunningham both won their singles matches in the consolation round of 32. Since the tournament was impacted by weather on Saturday, the remainder of the consolation rounds were cancelled to ensure the completion of the championship rounds. The four-day tournament concludes on Monday.
