"We had the right competition on a great day and we did not take advantage," Coach Nic Huffman said. "We did some good things, but we had a really ugly day overall. We looked better in practice all week and I was excited for some big performances, but we did not show up with our best. We came close and had a handful of small PR's, but we need to figure out how to break through and have our big performances. Time is running out this season. We will continue to rest up and sharpen throughout this next week. I hope we learned some valuable lessons this weekend. We have to do better."
Madi Aaron was named the Anderson XCTF Performer of the Meet. The freshman from Clarion, Pa. clocked personal-record time of 1 minutes, 25.34 seconds in the 400-meter hurdles.
