In January of 2019, Anderson University announced the hiring of Jeremy Lochner as defensive coordinator for the Ravens football program.
 
Lochner comes to Anderson after spending six years on the football staff at Taylor University.
 
A graduate of Taylor with a Bachelor’s Degree In Finance, Lochner coached defensive backs and linebackers and assisted with special teams. He tutored two NAIA All-Americans, two Cliff Harris Award finalists and numerous all-league players, including one conference Defensive Player of the Year.
 
“My coaching philosophy is to teach players respect, integrity, discipline, warrior spirit and, above all else, passion,” Lochner said. “Football is the greatest team sport and learning to put others in front of oneself is a great way to instill servant leadership.”
