Tucker earned first-team all-region honors as a wide receiver while Barnett received second-team all-region recognition as a returner. Both Tucker and Barnett are collecting all-region recognition for the first time.
Tucker garnered first-team all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) honors as a junior and second-team all-HCAC recognition as a sophomore. The junior from Brookville tallied 53 receptions, 617 receiving yards and four receiving touchdowns. He was also selected to the D3football.com Team of the Week this season.
Among NCAA leaders, Tucker ranked second in receptions per game (10.6), 10th in receiving yards per game (123.4), T-17 in receiving touchdowns, 24th in all-purpose yards per game (145.4) and T-50 in total touchdowns (4). Tucker topped the conference in receptions per game and receiving yards per game. He also tied for fourth in the HCAC in receiving touchdowns and ranked fifth in the conference in all-purpose yards per game. As returner, Tucker recorded 109 kick return yards on nine kick returns for a 12.1-yard average.
Barnett has earned all-HCAC recognition four times in his career. The senior kick returner/wide receiver was named to the all-HCAC second team as a sophomore and a senior. He also received All-HCAC Honorable Mention as a freshman and a junior. Barnett received the HCAC Special Teams Player of the Week after taking a kickoff return 94 yards to the house against Mount St. Joseph University. He is one of seven players in the nation to record a kickoff return touchdown this season.
Barnett produced 347 kickoff return yards on 14 kickoffs for an average of 24.8 yards per return. He also put together 54 punt return yards on five punt returns for an average of 10.8 yards per return. As a receiver, Barnett notched 25 receptions, 261 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Barnett ranked 35th in the nation in all-purpose yards per game (131.4). Among HCAC leaders, Barnett ranked second in yards per kick return, fifth in yards per punt return, sixth in all-purpose yards per game, T-6 in receptions per game (5.0) and ninth in receiving yards per game (52.2).
