    Assistant Diving Coach

Bio

Andra Pavich was named the first Anderson University diving coach in Oct. 2019. She enters the 2020-21 season in her second year as an assistant coach.

Pavich mentored Halle Strege, who became the first athlete in program history to win a conference title. In addition to locking up the 1-meter diving title in 2020, Strege’s score was high enough to become the first diver in program history to hit an NCAA ‘B’ qualifying standard and qualify for the NCAA Diving Regional. Strege was named HCAC Diver of the Week three times and also earned College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) Scholar All-America honors.

Pavich started her coaching career as a volunteer dive coach with Burris Laboratory School in Muncie during the 2014-15 season. She then served as the dive coach with Delta High School in Muncie from 2015-18. In her time with Delta, Pavich led one of her divers to a fourth-place finish at the Indiana High School Athletic Association (IHSAA) state meet.

Pavich graduated from Ball State University in 2018 with a bachelor's degree in German. She is currently working with LittleStar ABA Therapy in Carmel as a Registered Behavior Technician. Pavich also coaches with the Noblesville Swim Club in Noblesville.
