SENIOR COMMENTS
Sierra Kalli – Senior Day symbolizes the end of my time on the [cross country and track and field] teams, but it is also the start of my next chapter in life. I'm transition from my time on the track and field team and my time at AU to student teaching to actually teaching. It's bittersweet. It's nice to be here one more time, but I also look forward to the future.
Emilie Penick – AU showed up [on Saturday] and competed really well. Our 4x400 was a highlight [on Saturday]. I'm really proud of the team. For Senior Day, being a senior has some mixed emotions. You're a little sad; you're a little happy. I'm just really glad for the relationships I got to build at AU. The relationships and the long-lasting friendships are the main thing I've gotten out of this. It's so exciting to see my friends race, me competing, them cheering me on and me cheering them on. The community that we build is great.
COACH NIC HUFFMAN'S COMMENTS
- Losing seniors is tough every year. The investment and leadership are dearly missed and this is no exception. I wish the best for them and feel confident that they are well prepared to be successful. I'd like to thank them for all they do.
- There was such tremendous help to make the meet go so well. I am so blessed to have such wonderful people around me to make the day go so well.
