The Anderson University women's lacrosse team powered past Bethel University (Ind.) with a 17-10 victory on Tuesday at Macholtz Stadium.
Anderson (2-1) matched its win total from the 2019 season with Tuesday's win. The Ravens cleared 13-of-21 (61.9 percent) attempts while Bethel (2-3) finished 8-of-18 (44.4 percent) clears.
Riley Tull (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) led the Ravens with five goals and an assist. Elizabeth Graham (Riverside, Ohio/Carroll) and Mallory Housman (Evansville, Ind./Reitz Memorial) delivered four goals apiece. Housman caused five turnovers and picked up four ground balls while Graham secured 11 draw controls.
Samantha Huber (St. Louis, Mo./Westminster Christian) notched two goals, two assists and two caused turnovers. Gretta Mesarosh (Avon, Ind/Avon) provided one goal and two assists while Kaitlyn Lawson (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) contributed one goal and three caused turnovers. Elisa Mediola (La Porte, Texas/La Porte) dished out an assist. Emily Albert (New Albany, Ind./Christian Academy of Indiana) picked up five ground balls.
Madison Leonard (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound) saved eight of the 18 shots she faced. The Flower Mound, Texas native recorded seven ground balls and two caused turnovers.
Anderson takes on Mount St. Joseph University (0-1) in non-conference action on Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Cincinnati, Ohio.
