Lions Pull Away from Ravens
Mount St. Joseph University pulled away from the Anderson University football team with a 49-30 win during Saturday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup at Macholtz Stadium.

The Lions (4-1, 4-1) provided 505 yards of offense while the Ravens (1-4, 1-4) finished with 328 yards of offense.
Nicholas Rawles (Albion, Ind./Central Noble) rushed for 121 yards and two touchdowns. The sophomore from Albion tallied four receptions and 56 receiving yards. Rawles recorded 177 all-purpose yards and two all-purpose touchdowns. He averaged 4.8 yards per carry on 25 carries. Rawles contributed a 63-yard rushing touchdown as well as a 55-yard reception.
Alex Barnett (McCordsville, Ind./Mount Vernon) took a 94-yard kick return to the house. The senior McCordsville racked up 166 kick return yards and a kick return touchdown.
Johnny Parker (Crown Point, Ind./Boone Grove) threw for 221 yards and two touchdowns. The freshman from Crown Point completed 16-of-34 (47.1 percent) pass attempts.
James Tucker (Brookville, Ind./Franklin County) notched nine receptions, 150 receiving yards and two reception touchdowns.
Juancarlos Ramirez (Marion, Ind./Marion) recorded 11 tackles and a sack. Malandric Skipper-Blair (Anderson, Ind./Anderson Preparatory Academy) and Sam Feola (Ridgeville, Ind./Monroe Central) turned in five tackles each.
Collin McCaffrey (Manchester, Mich./Manchester) forced a fumble and recovered a fumble. Ross Watson (Wabash, Ind./Northfield) also forced a fumble. Lazarus Davis (Fort Wayne, Ind./North Side) put together a sack. Tristan Chambers (Fort Wayne, Ind./Concordia Lutheran) came up with two quarterback hurries.
Anderson wraps up the season by hosting Hanover College (4-0, 4-0) in HCAC action on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Macholtz Stadium.
