Calvin University handed the Anderson University football team a 66-12 loss on Saturday at Highland Middle School in Anderson.
The Knights (2-1) held a 460-110 advantage in total offense against the Ravens (1-2). Calvin also won the turnover battle by an advantage of 4-1.
Zac Montgomery completed an 11-yard passing touchdown to Deitric Johnson. Carson Brookbank also rushed for a 2-yard touchdown. Montgomery completed 11-of-19 passes for 72 yards. Julian Holguin contributed 39 receiving yards while Marquane Taylor rushed for 38 yards.
C.L. Siler was named Raven of the Game after notching a pass break and a team-high seven tackles. Rickey Bell turned in six tackles while Zaire Prioleau, Darrion Alexander, Justin Prayor, Jake Simpson, Gavin Reners, Connor Huffman and DeMarco Cooley each recorded five tackles. Ron Ragas recorded a sack for a loss of nine. Bell turned in 1.5 tackles for loss and 16 tackle for loss yards. Alexander, Prioleau, Sidiki Traore and Ragas each provided tackles for loss. Prioleau and Bell broke up two passes each while Tone Hurd added a pass breakup. Traore and Jake Simpson contributed quarterback hurries. Elijah St. Pierre pinned a punt inside the 20.
Anderson battles Luther College (0-2) on Saturday, Sept. 28 at 1 p.m. ET in Decorah, Iowa.
