Hanover College shut out the Anderson University football team 69-0 during Saturday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in Hanover.
The Panthers (6-3, 3-3) held a 564-126 advantage against the Ravens (0-9, 0-6) in total offense.
Connor Huffman notched 1.5 sacks, 2.5 tackles for loss, eight sack yards and 11 tackle-for-loss yards to lead the Ravens. LaQua Roar blocked a kick and posted a sack and a tackle for loss. Jacob Simpson tallied a team-high eight tackles. Connor Essick recorded a sack, a tackle for loss and a pass breakup. Corby Corbitt turned in a half sack. Lucas Kleeman and Carlos Alarcon Solano added a tackle for loss each. Julian Holguin hauled in seven receptions for 44 receiving yards.
Anderson faces off with Manchester University (0-9, 0-6) for The Bronze Ball in HCAC action on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in North Manchester.
