Bio

Garrett Stapleton enters the 2023 season in his first year as an assistant coach on the Anderson University football staff. He currently serves as the quarterbacks coach.

Stapleton played football and graduated from Concordia University Ann-Arbor in the Spring of 2021 with a degree in Sport & Entertainment Business. He came in as a freshman in 2017 and was a part of building a great program at Concordia. Stapleton was on the first conference championship team in school history in 2020, first playoff team in 2017, and the first team to win a playoff game in 2018. In his 4 years at Concordia, the team never lost a single home game and the team was ranked as high as number 4 in the Nation at the NAIA level.

Prior to arriving at Anderson, Stapleton coached the previous two seasons at Holly High School in Holly, Mich. where he coached at both the JV and Varsity level as a Quarterbacks Coach and Offensive Coordinator. He was able to contribute in turning around their program and helped get Holly to only their fifth playoff appearance in school history.
