Nation Garners HCAC Athlete-of-the-Week Honors

Nation was selected as the HCAC Athlete of the Week for the second time in his career.
Anderson went 2-0 on the week to move to 5-1 on the season. The Ravens topped Trine University (2-2) with a 5-4 victory at the AU Tennis Courts on Friday. Anderson then fought past Calvin University (1-1) with a 5-4 win at the Riviera Club in Indianapolis on Saturday.
Nation put together a 4-0 week for the Ravens. On Friday against Trine, Nation and Peter Hallam (Fishers, Ind./Fishers) turned in an 8-2 win against Jaxon Davis/Caleb Morris at No. 2 doubles. Nation then captured a 6-3, 1-6, 6-3 victory against Davis at No. 3 singles. The win gave Anderson its fifth point in a 5-4 victory against Trine.
On Saturday against Calvin, Nation and Parker Bradley (Brandenburg, Ky./Meade County) earned an 8-5 win against Harrison Sindelar/Isaac Jeong at No. 2 doubles. Despite facing elimination on a match point seven times, Nation still grinded out a 1-6, 6-3, 1-0 (12-10) victory against Jeong at No. 3 singles.
The Ravens return to action on Oct. 2 with two road matches in Michigan. Anderson goes head-to-head with Albion College (0-0) at 11 a.m. in Albion, Mich. The Ravens then face off with Alma College (0-0) at 4 p.m. in Alma, Mich.
