The third-seeded Anderson University men’s tennis team (13-8) topped sixth-seeded Manchester University (2-15) by a score of 8-1 during Wednesday’s Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) quarterfinal matchup at Highland Middle School in Anderson.

COACH SCOTT GREVE'S COMMENTS
The guys played exactly how I expected. They played so well that the captains and I decided to sit Martin Suarez so that we could get Jacob Davenport into the match. Everyone moved up a spot in singles and played extremely well. In particular, Sarvar Muzaffarov stepped up and was our first singles point. Some of the guys were still in the first set. He played really well. We are looking forward to this weekend. Transylvania is a great team and very well coached. We are looking forward to the challenge.
