COACH SCOTT GREVE'S COMMENTS
- Both teams executed our practice plans very well. I couldn't be happier with the way these two teams have worked in order to get to this stage of our preparation for a successful season. It was a hot day with a lot of sunshine which was great.
- This also brings the challenge of physical preparedness when you are playing back-to-back matches. These athletes have prepared well and showed they were ready mentally, physically and emotionally to handle the physical challenges and execute.
- We were excited to see everyone in action. It really helps us as coaches to see these athletes in competition. Watching them in practice is great, but seeing them in competition reveals what they are capable of as we move forward.
- As we discussed after the match, we have several things we need to work on, but overall, everyone showed why we are excited about our tennis program. These kids showed they are ready to continue to get better and play with the talent we have been blessed with.
