Men’s Tennis Racks Up 11 ITA Scholar Athletes for 2021-22 Season
The Anderson University men's tennis team racked up 11 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes for the 2021-22 season, which was announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
The Anderson University men's tennis team racked up 11 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes for the 2021-22 season, which was announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
Anderson's men's tennis team was also named an ITA All-Academic Team. The ITA recognized tennis teams with at least a 3.20 team GPA for the 2021-22 season as an ITA All-Academic Team.
Jordan Ashton, Parker Bradley, Tucker Bradley, Brant Brouillette, Jesse Hernandez, Lance Holdren, Austin Hostetler, Dylan Lemon, Seth Nation, Sam Songer and Colton Stevens each received ITA Scholar Athlete recognition. The ITA recognized tennis student-athletes with at least a 3.50 GPA for the 2021-22 academic year as ITA Scholar Athletes. Anderson topped the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) with 11 selections.
Hernandez has garnered ITA Scholar Athlete honors in each of the four years he has been eligible. Parker Bradley and Songer have received ITA Scholar Athlete recognition in each of the three years they have been eligible. Ashton, Tucker Bradley, Holdren and Lemon were each named ITA Scholar Athletes in their first year of eligibility. Hostetler collected ITA Scholar Athlete honors for the third time in his career while Brouillette earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition for the second time in his career. Nation and Stevens were each named ITA Scholar Athletes for the first time in their careers.
