Men’s Tennis Tallies Six ITA Scholar Athletes

Six Anderson University men's tennis athletes were named Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes, which were announced on Wednesday.

Davis Borders, Cory Evans, Will Fosnot, Cody Hawkins, Dylan Lemon and Arturo Mendoza were each selected as ITA Scholar Athletes. The ITA recognized tennis athletes with at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2023-24 year.

Anderson men's tennis was also selected as an ITA All-Academic Team. The ITA recognized member tennis teams with at least a 3.2 GPA for the 2023-24 year.

Lemon has earned ITA Scholar Athlete honors in all three years of eligibility while Borders, Fosnot, Hawkins and Mendoza each received ITA Scholar Athlete recognition in their first year of eligibility. Evans is a four-time ITA Scholar Athlete recipient.
