Anderson Places Fourth in IU-Kokomo Cougar Classic

The Anderson University men's cross country team placed fourth in the IU-Kokomo Cougar Classic on Friday in Kokomo.
 
Ian Leatherman (Fishers, Ind./Hamilton Southeastern) raced to fifth in the men's race with a 5K time of 16 minutes, 22.9 seconds. Clayton Wilson (Greencastle, Ind./Greencastle) secured 14th (17:39.7), Kaleb Guchinki earned 19th (18:04.1), Evan Kropf locked up 22nd (18:19.9), Zach Burton (Zionsville, Ind./Zionsville) took 25th (18:37.2) and Kaid Hutchison came in 30th (19:21.1).
 
Indiana Wesleyan University won the men's race with 33 points. Purdue Running Club came in second with 43 points, Indiana University-Kokomo took third with 69 points and Anderson finished fourth with 84 points.
 
Indiana Wesleyan's Steven Ott captured first with a time of 15:53.0.
 
Anderson is scheduled for the IWU Twilight Classic next Friday at 6:15 p.m. in Marion.
