The Anderson University volleyball team (2-0) opened the Great Lakes Cross Over with two wins on Friday at Cedar Point Sports Complex in Sandusky, Ohio.
Anderson took down Washington & Jefferson College (0-2) by a score of 25-22, 25-19, 7-25, 25-14. The Ravens then swept The University of Olivet (1-1) by a score of 25-23, 25-14, 25-17.
COACH TAMI MILLER'S COMMENTS
We did a great job offensively as a whole. Both veteran players and new players contributed to our success [on Friday]. It was the best total team effort I have seen in several years. We were aggressive at the service line and saw some improved ball control in the Olivet match. It's a solid start for AUVB!
