The Anderson University volleyball team (12-3, 1-0) defeated Franklin College (7-11, 0-1) by a score of 25-23, 18-25, 25-8, 25-14 on Saturday in Franklin.

COACH TAMI MILLER'S COMMENTS

  • [Saturday's] victory was a great start in conference play. Franklin had a strong offense that our backcourt, led my Lauren Dungan, did a pretty good job defending. We were inconsistent with our serve receive in set two but cleaned it up in sets three and four which was a key component to the win.
  • Our front court was led by gritty play by Jayda Lanham and smart play from Reece Kral and Taylor Ridge. Overall, it was the best team victory we have had this season.
