Bontrager, Perry Receive All-HCAC Honorable Mention
Anderson University volleyball standouts Felicity Bontrager (Goshen, Ind./Fairfield) and Shaylen Perry (Eaton, Ohio/Eaton) each received all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Honorable Mention, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Bontrager also earned all-HCAC Honorable Mention last season.
Perry tallied 127 kills, 29 blocks and 313 attacks on the year. The freshman from Eaton, Ohio produced a .256 hitting percentage as well as set averages of 0.46 blocks and 2.02 kills. Perry ranked fifth in the HCAC in hitting percentage.
"As this season progressed, we thought we had one of the top newcomers in the conference in freshman Shaylen Perry," Coach Tami Miller said. "She had led our team offensively with her hitting percentage and is tied for first on our team with blocks. We are unbelievably proud of her for her honorable mention award."
Bontrager notched 122 kills, 24 service aces, 29 blocks and 362 attacks. The junior from Goshen put together a .188 hitting percentage as well as set averages 2.07 kills, 0.49 blocks and 0.31 service aces. Bontrager ranked ninth in the HCAC in total service aces.
"Returning junior Felicity Bontrager not only improved on her front court play this year, but also played all-around for us. She is tied for first in blocks and aces and was second in both hitting percentage and digs. This was a breakout season for her all-around play and we could not be more proud of her this season. She is very deserving of the honorable mention award."
