The Anderson University volleyball team locked up two wins during the Charlie Wrublewski Invitational on Friday in Cincinnati.
Anderson (3-3) grinded out a 22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 26-24 victory against Wilmington College (2-4). The Ravens then rolled past Manchester University (3-4) with a 25-13, 25-13, 25-23 win.
"[Friday] was a great team effort," Coach Tami Miller said. "Wilmington was a very scrappy defensive team that did a fantastic job. We came out flat, but managed to clean up our game and finish strong. We put some new players on the court against Manchester and was able to put together another win. We put the pressure on them in the first two sets and did a great job of finishing! The third set was a little flat, but did have a nice come-from-behind win to finish out the day."
