Rocket League Tops Indiana Tech for Program’s First Win
The Anderson University Rocket League team topped Indiana Institute of Technology in a 3-0, 2-1, 2-0 sweep to secure the program’s first win in school history earlier this month.
The Anderson University Rocket League team topped Indiana Institute of Technology in a 3-0, 2-1, 2-0 sweep to secure the program's first win in school history during Saturday's Collegiate Star League (CSL) matchup.
Anderson (1-2) locked up the first game with a 3-0 victory, which was highlighted by Cam May finding the back of the net for the program's first-ever goal. Indiana Tech (1-2) took the Ravens to overtime in the second game, but Jack Long delivered a game-winner to seal a 2-1 win. Anderson then shutout the Warriors 2-0 in Game 3 to complete the sweep.
Long led the Ravens with four goals, five saves and 11 shots. He posted a team-high score of 1,408. May turned in three goals, one assist, one save and six shots. He closed out with a match score of 839. Jonathan Williams dished out a team-high three assists. He also contributed three saves and eight shots, finishing the match with a score of 670.
